                   Update    September 2003

Pastor Dale and Melody from our home church shared a 3 day visit filled with examples of how lives have changed dramatically in Panimaquin through GMO. It was under Pastor Dale’s leadership Trish and I received the call to go into the mission field.

On June 2nd, Trish had a 4th operation on her left eye to remove a huge scar growing over the original inflammation directly in front of the macula. Just 2 weeks later, a new hemorrhage caused the retina to again detach requiring immediate repair. The last two procedures were extremely painful, because the anesthesia was ineffective. She must sleep face down and is on limited activity for 30 days. Her next appt. is 28th of June.

Then, Elizabeth (18) and Rebecca (17) Goodrick came for 3 weeks. They returned to stir the enthusiasm for music started on their last trip in March. They are two great examples of Godly U.S. teens. They also have been a timely" help with Sarah.

During June, Bob and Joycee Lindstrom (teachers) shared their skills in all classrooms, participated in devotions, and spent lots of time loving each individual child and getting to know the workers.

On the 20th Lancaster Baptist Church, a group of 38 from Kentucky came to see what GMO is all about.   Click here for more
