Silvia 14 8th grader Silvia dreams about becoming a doctor. The first professional in Panimaquin. She is a serious student in our Scholarship Program. There is no on-campus living in our Universities. Silvia will be helping at home, walking 3 miles down the hill to the bus, riding 1 ½ hours to school, attending class, copying all info needed for her class (most do not have their own books), another 1 ½ hours ride back, climbing 3 miles, finishing chores, homework and bed. Silvia’s father Francisco 35 and her mom Elsa 30 are proud of her. She has 8 siblings: Blanca 16 8th grader, Marina 14 7th grader, Selena 11, Beverli 9, Lesly 7, Dinora 4, Katy 3, and Jr. 9 months.
