Lazaro and Glendy Suruy were hired as Co-Directors of the School and to Pastor the Church of God. They have two living children: Lester and Marcia. Five years ago they lost their daughter Glendy Roxana 1 after a long illness. Both graduated from Bible School and are credentialed teachers of this school. Lazaro is finishing the first of a two year English Scholarship on Saturdays in Antigua.Lazaro grew up in an alcoholic, abusive family and received Christ at age 14 with a Missionary named Marcia. She taught him the Christian meaning of love. When he first met Glendy, he was her Bible School teacher. Glendy was from a Christian family. Her father 72, her mother 48 when she was born. Lazaro and Glendy are continually encouraging and teaching their assistants new ways to reach the children in the Project. They have daily devotions for all employees, weekly chapel service for all students and employees. Their door is always open for prayer and counseling both for the parishioners and employees who need comfort. "Our goal is to grow a church strong in evangelism and discipleship, help our Project students reach their potential, and disciple each employee." |
